Just because you are feeling lonely or you are attached to them does not mean you need to go back.
Learn to love yourself, each and every day
And, you'll reach a point wherein you'll feel glad that it didn't work out with him/her. You are in a much happy place now.
Sometimes time doesn't heal you
But, gives you clarity. Don't give up on yourself during the initial days.
Don't ignore the RED flags
After a break, we usually try to attach ourselves to the good memories by avoiding the red flags. There was a reason why it didn't work out.
Spend time with people who love you
In these hard days, be with people who are good for your mental health. Avoid people who put you down. You matter to a lot of people - Believe me!
Focus on things that make you happy
It is difficult, but don't be so hard on yourself. Do things that make you happy - exercise, dance, sing.
